THE ANNUAL DR HORTON FAMILY PICNIC<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Melrose Lifestyle Services was proud to work with the\u00a0DR Horton Central Florida\u00a0Division on their\u00a0Family Picnic\u00a0for the fourth\u00a0year in a row. Annually, the Central Florida division chooses\u00a0a day to close operations for the Family Picnic.\u00a0 This allows\u00a0team members\u00a0of the homebuilder and their family members\u00a0a\u00a0day full of games, prizes, food, and crafts\u00a0to enjoy \u2014 this year, employees of the\u00a0builder and their children had fun painting pumpkins!<\/p>\n

\"\" \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

THE KINGS GATE HALLOWEEN PARTY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Melrose\u00a0was happy to sponsor the annual Halloween party for the residents of Kings Gate in Port Charlotte this quarter.\u00a0 Lifestyle Director Margie\u00a0had about 320 people attend, and hosted\u00a0contests for costumes, candy corn count and a 50\/50 pot to split.<\/p>\n

She also\u00a0wrapped up a yearlong fundraising effort for three organizations: Meals on Wheels;\u00a0Jesus Loves You Ministry, who goes\u00a0out to homeless camps to bring supplies; and The Back Pack Kidz, which provides children every week with a back pack full of food for the weekend. The residents have raised a total of $2,328 over this past year and it will be split equally between the three charities.<\/p>\n

AXE YOUR LEASE AT GRIFFIN PARK<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

This quarter, we helped to plan the “Axe Your Lease” event at Griffin Park by David Weekley Homes. The event was specially designed to attract potential buyers to break their current leases with the help of the builder. Prospects were invited to visit the community to\u00a0learn more while scoring free food from local restaurants in Griffin Farms at Midtown, walk\u00a0through the amenities, take\u00a0a look at the numbers\u00a0(all with no strings attached!) and sharpen their axe-throwing skills.<\/p>\n
