The Coronavirus pandemic has changed nearly every aspect of our daily lives, and\u2014like the rest of the world\u2014our Melrose Lifestyle Services communities have had to make adjustments to their plans. While the lack of in-person events is certainly against the norm for residents who enjoy our Lifestyle programming, that doesn’t mean the new events can’t be just as fun and memorable! Our Lifestyle teams have gotten creative to ensure that their residents remain connected even while socially distanced.<\/p>\n
Virtual Events<\/strong><\/p>\n This month, Melrose Lifestyle Services at\u00a0Griffin Park helped David Weekley to organize an at home movie watch-a-long and trivia night.\u00a0We planned the event and created questions for homeowners to answer as they watched “Despicable Me!” from the safety of their homes, and the David Weekley Sales teams delivered movie night gift bags on the day of the event for a creative way to have fun at home!<\/p>\n LCAM Jessica also helped her Griffin Park homeowners get creative when she coordinated a live Zoom demonstration from Nailed It!\u00a0DIY Studio<\/em>. The Melrose Lifestyle Services event was originally planned to be in person, but the virus changed the event’s course. Homeowners received materials to their doorsteps and followed live instructions virtually to complete the DIY craft. These virtual events were a big success with the residents!<\/p>\n
