LIFESTYLE STAFFER SETS A WORLD RECORD
Did you know that one of the Solara Resort Clubhouse’s very own, Flow instructor and award-winning rider Joel Stevens, is now the proud holder (pending official confirmation) of a brand new, prestigious, Guinness World Record? That’s right: Joel racked up 1,059 consecutive 360 degree spins on his Flowboard on Solara’s thrilling Flow wave surfing simulator—a truly awe-inspiring feat!
A SPECIAL INITIATIVE FOR DEVELOPER CLIENTS
The Melrose Management Partnership, our sister Community Association Management branch, is launching a new initiative for valued Developer clients: no management fees charged until the first closing! We invite you to learn more about this new initiative.
THE ANNUAL DR HORTON FAMILY PICNIC
Melrose Lifestyle Services was proud to work with the DR Horton Central Florida Division on their Family Picnic for the fourth year in a row. Annually, the Central Florida division chooses a day to close operations for the Family Picnic. This allows team members of the homebuilder and their family members a day full of games, prizes, food, and crafts to enjoy — this year, employees of the builder and their children had fun painting pumpkins!
THE KINGS GATE HALLOWEEN PARTY
Melrose was happy to sponsor the annual Halloween party for the residents of Kings Gate in Port Charlotte this quarter. Lifestyle Director Margie had about 320 people attend, and hosted contests for costumes, candy corn count and a 50/50 pot to split.
She also wrapped up a yearlong fundraising effort for three organizations: Meals on Wheels; Jesus Loves You Ministry, who goes out to homeless camps to bring supplies; and The Back Pack Kidz, which provides children every week with a back pack full of food for the weekend. The residents have raised a total of $2,328 over this past year and it will be split equally between the three charities.
AXE YOUR LEASE AT GRIFFIN PARK
This quarter, we helped to plan the “Axe Your Lease” event at Griffin Park by David Weekley Homes. The event was specially designed to attract potential buyers to break their current leases with the help of the builder. Prospects were invited to visit the community to learn more while scoring free food from local restaurants in Griffin Farms at Midtown, walk through the amenities, take a look at the numbers (all with no strings attached!) and sharpen their axe-throwing skills.
